The reproductive physiology of the estrous cycle in the cat is presented. Two pharmaceutical agents, although not approved for use in cats, will control estrus satisfactorily in this species. Methods of pregnancy diagnosis and the most common reproductive problems encountered in the cat are also discussed. |
