When naming the North China leopards, specialists encounter many difficulties. In order to choose the right name, we first had to search not only all descriptions but also the type specimens. Dr. J. Dorst (Paris) and Prof. Dr. K. Zimmermann (Berlin) were very helpful in this work, which is very difficult nowadays with limited travel possibilities. |
