The first news about the leopard from the southernmost provinces of China, namely from Kwantung, was given by Swinhoe in 1870. At a meeting of the Zoological Society in London, this researcher presented a leopard skin that was łvery richly coloured and marked, but otherwise agreeing with the Leopard of Indiał. |
