Specialist leopard: monkey catcher, grazer and rat hunter
1990  Wild und Hund: 80-81

Of all African big cats, the leopard has the largest range, which also extends over large parts of Asia. As a solitary animal that is both diurnal and nocturnal, it does not make any special demands on its habitat if there is sufficient prey available and is also able to adapt to anthropogenic (human-induced) changes in habitat.
