Could culling be the key to saving tigers?
1990  Newspaper

Peter Jackson, an expert on big cats, tells how some cyclists came across a tiger strolling down a road in northern India. They dismounted and waited at the side of the road as it passed. Asked if they been afraid, they replied that they had not because the animal was clearly deep in thought. Knowing cats the way he does, Jackson surmises that the tiger was probably thinking about one thing - where its next meal was coming from.
