A survey method was devised for documenting the presence of a wide range of mostly nocturnal carnivores in the field using large numbers of inexpensive cameras. Each camera was equipped with a flash and attached to a bait by means of a simple triggering mechanism which carnivores operated by tugging on the bait. |
