The hunting behavior of lions

The bevavior of the African lion has been studied intensively over the past two decades. The lion is the only member of the cat family that normally lives and hunts in groups. In the Serengeti, a typival lion pride consists of 2-18 related adult females, their young offspring, and 1-7 unrelated adult males.
