Kempf, C.
European Lynx and capercaillie: A false problem
1978  Bulletin de la societe industrielle de Mulhouse (2): 83-90

In this paper, the author reacts to the presumption of many hunters that lynx have negative impacts on capercaillie population in the east of France. His arguments against this belief are that the impact of hunters is much higher than the impact of predators. Furthermore, he states that other aspects influence the capercaillie population, as for example loss of suitable habitats.
