The following observations come from areas of the High Tatras and the Forest Carpathians. These are peripheral areas of the main occurrence of the lynx. The rule and the exception in the way of life are sometimes so opposed to each other that it is difficult to bring them to a common denominator. However, it is precisely the diversity in the exceptional that ultimately only confirms certain rules. |
