The aim of this paper is to assess the qualitative and quantitative impacts of lynxes on their preys in Switzerland and France. The author first presents the diet and feeding behavior of lynxes and then discusses the population dynamics of ungulates in lynx areas. Finally, it assesses livestock losses in both countries. |
