Evans, C.
Improving cooperation between private landowners and government agencies to protect panther habitat
1994  Conference Proceeding

Tom Dyer, effectively stated what the problem is, and what the challenge is that faces all of us. There tends to be an us-vs-them approach to the panther issue. There's the urban group, the environmental group, the regulators, the landowners, and it's all us-vs.-them. It has been almost 30 years since the Florida panther was listed as a federally designated endangered species. Many studies, many meetings and much effort have been expended and much money spent to determine what should be done to protect the panther.
