The history of man is linked to the history pf camping. Our nomad ancestors in their search for water, food and shelter were forced to camp, rather bivouac (temporary encampments) regularly. This ability to live on the move is still very much a part of us. We must realize that from our initial struggle for survival, we today continue to increase the degree of complexity of systems through specialization for staying alive. |
