The purpose of this paper is to report direct observations of pumas (Felis concolor) in Torres del Paine National Park, Magellanes Region, Chile during the winter of 1980. I will summarize puma predatory behaviour and compare information collected from puma-killed guanacos (Lama guanicoe) with census data on the Park guanaco population. |
