Use of tracks for assessing diversity and relative abundance of mammals in the Beni Biosphere Reserve - Biologial Station, Bolivia. A brief guide for tracks of 13 mammal species that inhabit the Beni Biosphere Reserve, Bolivia, is given. The guide offers an example for using tracks in the assessment of the diversity and abundance of mammals in the Reserve. Some advantages and problems of the use of this technique are outlined. |
