Alberta Forestry, Lands and Wildlife, Fish and Wildlife Division personnel including the authors conducted an intensive capture and radio tracking program to obtain information regarding densities, reproduction, dispersal, home ranges, movements, and winter food habits of cougars in the southwestern foothills and mountains of the Province between 1981 and 1986.
