We have attempted to collect and systematize information on the dates of reproduction and delivery, duration of pregnancy and fertility of the European lynx as well as the growth and development rate of its cubs in captivity. The work summarizes the materials on lynx breeding at the St. Petersburg Zoo (12 litters, 25 cubs) and analyzes evidence on the breeding of lynx at the Riga and Moscow Zoos. |
