This report summarizes results of the most recent and lengthiest phase of Saolo surveys and Saola conservation activities under the Nakai-Nam Theun Conservation Project Phase 2. For the first time, the Saola conservation activities shifted to the established NBCA, in Nakai District, Khammouan Province. This interim document briefly summarizes principal activities and findings. Greater detail will be given in a final project survey report and in the forthcoming revised Saola Conservation Action Plan for Lao PDR. |
