The acceptance of bear, wolf and lynx in Austria

A questionnaire survey in Austria revealed a positive attitude of people towards the great predators brown bear, wolf and lynx. The wolf is less popular than the bear and lynx. The acceptance and knowledge differed regionally and depending on the type respondent. But generally, Austrians would like to be more informed about great predators. Furthermore, they all agree on the fact that great predator populations should be preserved.
