Different excavation sites in southern France and Turkey have been analysed for Felidae and Hyaenidae. Several lines of wildcats _Felis silvestris_, the cave lynx _Lynx spelaeus_,_ Panthera_ sp., cave lion _Panthera leo fossilis_, and the cave hyaena _Crocuta crocuta spelaea_ have been identified. |
