Jabs for dogs may save Serengeti lions

Canine distemper has wiped out almost a third of the lions in the Serengeti National Park in the past two years. Although the epidemic now seems to have fizzled out, the virus lingers disturbingly close by - in the domestic dogs living on the borders of the park.
