During the 2000-2001 season five cruises to the Myeik archipelago were organized and the development of nine projects in different domains promoted. Two projects are focused on the marine ecosystem, two on the terrestrial wildlife (Wild cats survey), one on the interaction between humand and wildlife (Survey on illegal hunting and animal trade), three on the Moken sea gypsies, and one is focused on the promotion of the research activities in the archipelago. |
