The Asiatic golden cat _Catopumu temminckii _is rarely maintained in captivity and only moderate breeding success has occurred. This paper outlines the captive history, management and husbandry of the species at Melbourne Zoo which has resulted in the birth of 23 young over 23 years, 18 of which survived to 30 days. Information on reproductive parameters is also given. |
