Diagnostic utility of the serum protein electrophoresis by the example of felids and hyenas-some preliminary results

The principal purpose of this retrospective case-control study is to prove, if serum electrophoresis may be a clinically useful tool also for zoo veterinarians. The investigation started by determining own reference values for different felid species and hyenas. Int his course, results were also screened for differences depending on sex or age. 1
