Hupe, K.
Investigation of the occurrence of the wildcat (_Felis silvestris silvestris_) in forests and wooded ridges between Solling and Hainberg with regard to a possible networking of the Harz and Solling populations
2007  Informationsdienst Naturschutz Niedersachsen (27): 38-45

By means of bait-stick samples, wildcats (_Felis silvestris silvestris_) have been recorded in six out of eleven sampled forest sites. New transit zones/habitats are discernible, e.g. Duinger Berg and Thster Berg. BAB A 7 and other road and railway alignments act as barriers to further dispersal of wildcats into forests of the Leine uplands. Further field work to establish potential migration corridors is called for.
