The general prognosis for wildlife and reserve conservation remains bright although there is a great need to increase the management skill and experience of all levels of the Department. There is also a need for greater public awareness of the implication of conservation so that a strong lobby will be created as a forefront against losses of present protected areas and also as a pressure for the creation of new such areas in the future. |
