The landscape ecology of leopards (_Panthera pardus)_ in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa: A preliminary project report
2003  Ecological Journal (5): 24-30

This is the first study of leopards comparing a protected population adjacent to regions where the species is heavily persecuted, and will be the first examination of leopard ecology under such widely divergent land-uses. This is also the first comprehensive study of the species in KwaZulu-Natal. As the research has been very recently initiated, we have only preliminary data and this paper is intended as an introductory report on the project. We began capturing leopards in April 2002 to fit with radiocollars.
