An overview of the draft copy of the Communication program in the Iberian lynx reintroduction areas in Andalusia is presented here. Reintroduction and recovery programs of threatened species are unlikely to succeed if they do not consider and actively incorporate values, attitude, behaviour and wishes of the local community (Reading & Kellert, 1993). Communication with the people involved in conservation projects is therefore essential, especially that with local actors living in the territory where these projects are going to be carried out. |
