Nutritional infertility in a pair of snow leopards | |
1990 Book Chapter | |
Infertility in animal species can be traced to a number of causes, including psychological, hereditary and dietary. Dietary problems are difficult to diagnose, and this is complicated in Felidae by their distinct nutritional requirements. Links have previously demonstrated for other large cats between infertility and vitamin levels and are examined here for the pair of snow leopards at Jersey Wildlife Preservation Trust. |
