Leininger, R.W.
Bilateral coxofemoral dysplasia in a snow leopard
1984  Book Chapter

Lesions of the coxofemoral joint occur with varying frequencies in many species of domestic animals. The incidence of hip dysplasia in domestic felids has been estimated at approximately 0.005%. However, only one mention of a dysplastic coxofemoral joint disease involving nondomestic felids has been reported in recent literature. This report will describe the diagnosis of bilateral coxofemoral dysplasia in a snow leopard (_Panthera uncia_).
