Mammals have some good features in terms of physiology and in terms of nervous system and the level of intelligence so that mammals have a wide distribution of life. One of them is the National Park Resort Habaring Hurung who have ample peat ecosystems in which there is diversity of flora and fauna. It is necessary for an inventory of the potential diversity of mammal species in the region. The experiment was conducted on December 7 to 14 August 2010 by using the sampling method, the method of transect lines (strip transect). Diversity of mammal species thath have acquired and successfully identified 46 types of mammals consisting of 22 families and 7 orders. There are 37 species of mammals are included in the list of mammal species that have been protected either by the IUCN, CITES, and Government Regulation No. 7 of 1999 on Preservation of plants and animals. Sebangau National Park has a relatively high diversity, it is necessary to the proper management for wildlife can be sustainably.
