Sumatra tiger (_Panthera tigris sumatrae_) in recent time is one of the wildlife which one the existence is rarely to find. Since 1996, Sumatran tiger was claimed as endangered. It is caused by habitat destruction, poaching and lack of feed. There were so many factors which is cause the population decline, one of them is conflict between tiger and human. The cause of the conflict is tiger's reduction area where it force them to finde other area. One of the areas is human's land that was forest which had been transformed into residential and industry plantation (HTI). At the palm and timber plantations around National Park Tesso Nilo (TNNP) there is a tendency of tiger existence which is so close with human activites. This research aims to identify the use of space by the tiger and its prey in various kinds of ages and palm oil plantation and also analyze the correlation between the characteristics of oil palm and timber to the existence of tigers and their prey around TNNP. The technique of collecting data is taking by looking at the secondary mark which is left by the tiger and its prey. The data were analyzed by using morisita analysis. The results showed the Sumatra tigers are more likely to use the area that has a lot of prey species and try to avoid the areas where it has high level of human activity.
