Cat SG Members Slovakia

Jakub Kubala is dealing with the ecology, conservation and management of the Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) and the European wildcat (Felis silvestris) in Slovakia, Carpathians and Europe since 2001. He is the main author of the “Action Plan for the Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) in Slovakia”, implementing the lynx and wildcat population survey and systematic monitoring programme in Slovakia. Moreover he is included within the European´s lynx reintroduction and reinforcement projects (lynx reintroduction in the Palatinate forest - LIFE Luchs project and the lynx population reinforcement in the Dinaric Mountains and SE Alps - LIFE Lynx project).
