CAT - Cat Action Treasury, P. O. Box 332ME 03902 Cape Neddick
In 2009 I celebrate my 20th anniversary as a Cat SG member. I have supported the Group's work by helping compile its 1996 Cat Action Plan, and since 1994 coordinate cat classification on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. I have worked on many different aspects of cat conservation, including conservation planning, anti-poaching, community partners, fund-raising, status assessments, and cheetah ecology in Namibia's Etosha National Park. In 1995 I established CAT (Cat Action Treasury) to support Cat Group members and priorities. I am an expert on the tiger bone medicinal trade, and serve as advisor to the wildlife trade monitoring network TRAFFIC. I have lived in China as well as Africa, and travel widely from my solar-powered home base in the Maine woods.
